Chopper Flying for Dummies

Ran across a short article the other day talking about a company that allows you to fly one of their helicopters with a minimum of training. Now this would certainly be a creative gift.

Of course you have to be in the Lakeland, Florida area, but for the real flying buff, this could be worked into their regular vacation. And who couldn't use a vacation to Florida (not in hurricane season, of course.)

You can sign up to spend a few hours in ground school and take off, hover and land the chopper. Or spend less time and just hover around a bit at the controls. A certified pilot is with you at all times.

I'd do it myself, but I suffer from severe motion sickness. (No kidding.)
